The Town of Irishtown-Summerside is accepting applications for the position of Clerk Assistant.
This position is a permanent part-time position.
The successful applicant must be able to work independently and have a general knowledge of office work and computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with Sage Accounting Software or other computerized account software would be an asset. This would normally be obtained through a diploma/degree in Business Administration or Office Administration. Applicants with considerable experience will also be considered. The successful applicant will be required to provide a clean code of conduct.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Answering phones;
- Accepting payments;
- Preparing correspondence & replying to resident inquiries;
- Managing the town’s social media posting;
- Copying & Filing; and
- Other duties as assigned by the town clerk
