Residential Building Permit

Permits are required for, but not limited to:

• New homes

• Additions and renovations to existing home

• Accessory buildings like a garage, or a shed

• Decks

For additions and renovations, or any change to the structural layout of a building, will require a permit. A permit is not required for interior painting, finished flooring or replacement of common plumbing fixtures such as a faucet or toilet.

NOTE:  Please check with the Town Office if planning any additions and renovations to determine when a building permit is required. A building permit is available at the town office.

Demolition Permit

Permits are required when there is a demolition of a property.  Free of charge by the town.

Complete the form and bring it to the local dump to save on garbage fees.
